Description of Event: This workshop will present an overview the counseling role of school psychologists. The focus of the workshop will be on ways to integrate counseling and the IEP process. Information will be provided to assist school psychologists develop specific objectives, outline treatment strategies and evaluate progress toward the counseling goals. Additionally, attention will be given to the various counseling techniques and approaches that may be appropriate for children and adolescents in school settings.
