Functional Behavior Assessment (FBAs) are widely used but can vary wildly. Attached to this post is a document about the legal guidance regarding FBAs. We would like to know more about how FBAs work in your district and practice. Do you conduct FBAs in your district? Who conducts the FBA in your district? What role do these FBAs play in the IEP development and program development? There are circumstances when a FBA is required according to IDEA, do you follow this guidance?
